GFR Friday FLASHback Volume 4: Flashes take down Army on Homecoming

Today on our GFR FLASHback Friday we are taking it back ten years to Homecoming 2014, on October 18, 2014.

In the second year of the Paul Haynes era the Flashes would finish just 2-9 overall and 1-6 in the MAC but they got some homecoming magic with a win over Army 39-17.

Quarterback Colin Reardon threw for 360 yards on 27-40 passing and three touchdowns.  Tight end Casey Pierce caught five passes for 55 yards and two touchdowns while James Brooks caught seven passes for 108 yards.

The Flashes blew open a 23-17 lead into the fourth quarter by out-scoring the Black Knights 16-0 in the fourth quarter.

The win was the first of the year for the Flashes and snapped a six game losing streak to start the year.
